Wedding scene or hawan of Krishna.Pundits, musicians and handmaidens vividly portrayed. A group of women watch from the rooftop whilst another group of five women are seated on a lower balcony. Female musicians perform in the foreground. Krishna sits with his bride under a double crimson canopy, the hawan flame between them and the pundits who perform the rites. The smaller miniature inset at the lower left corner and the stylized architecture give depth to the scene.
