A ruler, possibly Maharaja Bijai Singh of Jodhpur (ruled 1753-1794), seated on a terrace with a young prince, both resting against bolsters with attendants standing to either side waving morchals and holding the ruler's swords and shield. All the figures dressed in white jamas and coloured turbans. The turbans of the two dignitaries decorated with a jewelled sarpech and rows of pearls. Jodhpur, circa 1840, nagari inscriptions of identification on painted surface.
