The Kutwalee is near the Holy Temple, Amritsar. From an uncommon collection
of views of the Punjab, more particularly Lahore and Amritsar which
the great collector Abbey believed were 'possibly privately published'.
The artist is anonymous, identified only as 'the wife of an Officer
in the Queen's Service now with his regiment in India'.
